About Series 7 Exam Tutor

 

Primary instructor, Michael Weiss, CFA passed the Series 7 Exam on his first try with a score 94% and was awarded the CFA charter in 2002 after passing each of the three CFA exams on his first try. Michael has also passed the series 6 exam, the series 65 exam and the series 63 exam; all with relatively high scores.  In addition, Michael holds an M.B.A. in Finance & Investments from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College and a B.A. in Finance & Economics from the City University of New York - Baccalaureate Program. In addition, Michael has worked in finance for 20+ years with the majority of this time focused on investment analysis and portfolio management.  

 

In anticipation of FINRA's new exam structure, which includes the Securities Industry Essentials Exam (The SIE Exam), our primary tutor has updated our relevant materials and has created new materials for the SIE Exam. The SIE Exam and the Series 7 Exam are technically co-requisites.  However, most people will take the SIE Exam prior to taking the Series 7 Exam.
